Nova magazine’s front covers

Like Haymarket’s Town magazine and London Life – the relaunched version of TatlerNova magazine was a star of the 1960s and 1970s. Nova is regarded as legendary today, and certainly made its mark, but ultimately could not make a long-term profit.

It is famous for its covers – they regularly make it into best cover compilations – and I’ve put all Nova‘s covers from 1965 to 1975 online so you can see for yourself.

Nice to look through the galleries. Many of these bring back memories; although my mother usually bought She magazine (which was very tatty), some months she went for Nova as well! Quite brilliant design and style though you’d probably struggle to get some of the covers on the shelves today. I have a box of these in the loft somewhere I must dig out…
